UrbanPro is a marketing platform that aims to connect students with tutors. To that end, we share enquiries for classes with tutors after collecting specific information from the students. The way we look at it is from the perspective of investment.
This means that it is better to look for a return on your investment rather than the number of students you are able to convert.
Here is an example that could help illustrate this:
Let's assume that you have spent Rs. 550 on an UrbanPro membership. With the coins that you get, you contact 20 students. Let's assume that 2 of those 20 students agree to take classes with you and you charge them Rs 4,000 per month. At the end of the month, you will have earned Rs. 8,000 from those students. Which means that your initial investment of Rs. 550 has been recovered with profit.
It is the same principle that would apply if you were to hand out flyers about your coaching classes. You would spend money on the printing of the flyers and once you have students taking classes from you, your first aim would be to recover the cost of printing those flyers.
The main thing to focus on here would be to look at your spending from a long term perspective rather than from a short term quick gains perspective.
