UrbanPro.com is an online networking community that connects its members through a variety of services that it provides to its members. This document covers the terms and conditions under which these services are provided.

  • Your registration as a member of UrbanPro.com or the use of any of the features and services on UrbanPro.com, either as a registered member or as a visitor constitutes automatic acceptance of these terms and conditions.
  • UrbanPro.com reserves the right to update the terms, conditions and notices of this agreement without notice to you. It is your responsibility to periodically review the most current version of this Agreement.
  • By accessing or using the Sites, Content, or Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.
  • If you do not agree with any of the terms and conditions of UrbanPro.com, do not register and you will not be authorized to use UrbanPro.com services.
  • The views expressed on the website are not those of UrbanPro.com, and any issues in them belong to the respective contributors.
  • Through the use of this site, you agree to hold UrbanPro.com harmless and its sponsors, owners, shareholders or employees against any claims.
  • You are responsible for safeguarding the password that you use to access the Sites, Content and Services. You agree not to disclose your password to any third party. You agree to take sole responsibility for any activities or actions under your password, whether or not you have authorized such activities or actions.
  • You may not make any content item originating from UrbanPro.com available for public access by any means whatsoever without obtaining prior written permission from UrbanPro.com.
  • UrbanPro.com provides a variety of forums for its members to express themselves in the form of blogs, comments, reviews and photographs. You truthfully assert that the content being contributed is yours and that you own the copyright to the content.
  • The content on the website is posted by UrbanPro.com, visitors and its members. UrbanPro.com will attempt to ensure the integrity and the accuracy of the Site in the Content and or Services but it does not guarantee that the information is accurate or complete or current. UrbanPro.com cannot be held liable for inaccuracy of any data listed on the website or any damage caused by the use of inaccurate data. It is UrbanPro.com's policy to correct any inaccuracy reported within 7 days.
  • The opinions and reviews expressed on the site belong to the users and UrbanPro.com cannot be held liable in any way about the content of the opinions and reviews. The platform allows users to express their views about different schools, teachers and training centers.
  • Information about the schools posted on the site is obtained from their official websites, another source on the internet and in some cases by calling the schools.
  • UrbanPro.com should not be thought of as the authority and the final guide in your decision making.
  • UrbanPro.com at its sole discretion may edit, delete or block access to any Content including Member Posted Content, without notice and without liability. We will, however, make reasonable efforts to inform you of the changes. 
  • Number of coins required to respond to an enquiry and pricing of membership plans are subject to change without notice and without liability. We will, however, make reasonable efforts to inform you of the changes.
  • UrbanPro.com at its sole discretion may edit, delete or block access to any of the users if found to have updated wrong information on our website or any information which is updated is likely to misguide the users or visitors.
  • By uploading the logo of your institute, you give UrbanPro.com the right to use the logo on UrbanPro.com website as well as on any UrbanPro marketing material.
  • By adding any content (text, image, audio or video) on UrbanPro.com, you give UrbanPro.com the right to use the content for the purpose of promoting UrbanPro in any of its marketing or promotional collateral.
  • If you are a visitor on our website and if you update any personal contact information such as phone number or e-mail address, UrbanPro.com reserves the right to contact you over Phone calls, SMS or E-mail. If the intention was for tutoring/learning or seeking information about our product & services, UrbanPro team will guide you accordingly via phone call, SMS or e-mail.

While using the web site and engaged in any form of communication on any of the forums, you agree not to:

  • Post, publish or transmit any messages that are false, misleading, defamatory, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, invades other person's privacy, offensive, promotes racism, hatred or harm against any individual or group or religion or caste, infringes other person’s right including any intellectual property rights or copyright or trademark, violates or encourages any conduct that would violate any applicable law or regulation or would give rise to civil liability.
  • Upload or post otherwise make available any content that you do not have a right to make available, under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships.
  • Upload or post or otherwise make available any Content that infringes any patent, trademark, trade secret, copyright or other proprietary rights of any party. You may, however, post excerpts of copyrighted material as long as they adhere to Fair Use guidelines.
  • Collect screen names and email addresses of members for purposes of advertisement, solicitation or spam are prohibited.
  • Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the website or breach any security or authentication measures.
  • Access or search the Sites Content or Services with any engine, software, or tool.
  • Send unsolicited email, junk mail, spam, or chain letters, or promotions or advertisements for products or services.
  • Reformat or frame any portion of the web pages that are part of the UrbanPro.com Site without a written agreement.
  • Create user accounts by automated means or under false or fraudulent pretences.
  • Post text, messages, graphics or materials that are sales offers, advertisements, or promotions for products or services. 
  • UrbanPro doesn't allow registration for Home Tuition Agencies & Organizations who are engaged in providing products or services similar to that of UrbanPro.com (or) who is engaged in the collection of data from UrbanPro website and sharing/utilizing it for the benefit of competitors. If there are any such registrations, UrbanPro.com reserves the right to terminate those accounts without any prior notice & without processing the refund of the subscription associated to those accounts. UrbanPro also reserves the right to initiate any legal proceedings if any 'Home Tuition Agencies or Organizations' contravenes condition as stated above.
  • Kindly clarify your doubts before you make a payment to upgrade to any of our premium membership plans or buy extra coins. Once a payment is made, it cannot be refunded.
  • Before availing any of our advertising packages - Sponsored Listing, Branding Package, and Banner Ad, kindly understand the benefits of the packages. The payment made for any of our Branding packages is non-refundable.
  • In case you have any doubt or query, please drop an email at support@urbanpro.com. We’ll get back to you within 2 working days.
  • UrbanPro.com reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Services with or without notice.

For UrbanPro ‘Assured’ members

  • All members who are receiving enquiries from UrbanPro in categories that have been marked as ‘UrbanPro Assured’ categories will be considered as ‘UrbanPro Assured’ members once their application for membership is accepted and approved by UrbanPro. Following terms will be deemed as accepted by such members, if they respond (via call, message or booking a demo) to any enquiry in an ‘UrbanPro Assured’ category.
  • Categories will be designated as ‘UrbanPro Assured’ categories for ‘online’ or ‘offline’ (tuitions conducted at student’s home, tutor’s home or tuition centres) - via email communication. The same will be conveyed on UrbanPro website if the tutor signs up for any such category. In any case, the decision of UrbanPro team regarding the categories of enquiries that qualify as ‘UrbanPro Assured’ will be considered as final and binding.
  • If you have applied for ‘Assured’ membership, your application will need to be accepted and approved by UrbanPro, before you can be confirmed as an ‘UrbanPro Assured’ member.
  • Benefits of being an UrbanPro Assured member:
    • You will not lose UrbanPro coins if you call someone and the call does not get picked up.
    • You will be charged UrbanPro coins only if you call someone and the call gets connected OR if you get a demo attended by a student.
    • Your UrbanPro coins will never expire
    • You will get bonus UrbanPro coins as an incentive for getting payments from students who posted an enquiry on UrbanPro
  • Commission rates as chargeable to UrbanPro Assured members:
    • If you are signed up as a Free Member, you will be charged 35% of any payment that you receive from students via UrbanPro SecurePay Link (applicable to payments for first 10 classes)
    • If you are signed up as a Silver Member you will be charged 30% of any payment that you receive from students via UrbanPro SecurePay Link (applicable to payments for first 10 classes)
    • If you are signed up as a Gold Member you will be charged 25% of any payment that you receive from students via UrbanPro SecurePay Link (applicable to payments for first 10 classes)
    • If you are signed up as a Platinum Member you will be charged 20% of any payment that you receive from students via UrbanPro SecurePay Link (applicable to payments for first 10 classes)
    • For any payment received from students for 11th or higher number of classes, a flat rate of 10% commission will be charged.
    • The commission rates and the pricing scheme mentioned above are subject to change from time to time at the sole discretion of management at UrbanPro.com
  • Bonus Coins for UrbanPro Assured members:
    • You will receive bonus coins for every payment that you receive from a learner via UrbanPro SecurePay. Your bonus coins will be equal to the transaction fee that you pay to UrbanPro for the payment received via UrbanPro SecurePay. For example, if you collect payment of Rs 5000 from a learner and you pay a transaction fee of 20% (i.e. Rs 1000) then you will receive 1000 Bonus Coins as well.
  • Communicating with students and receiving payments from students or learners who posted an enquiry on UrbanPro
    • UrbanPro Assured members are required to share only the ‘UrbanPro SecurePay’ link with learners who want to make a payment to them for any of the classes they agree to take up with them.
    • UrbanPro Assured members are required to communicate with learners who posted an enquiry on UrbanPro, only by using the messaging, call or demo options offered through UrbanPro. 
    • UrbanPro Assured members should not miss any demo booked for them by learners. Coins charged for such demos will not be refunded to the tutors. A penalty of 2-times the coins charged will be applicable in case the tutor misses a demo. Tutors will have the option to reject any demo up to 3 hours in advance of the scheduled time. Tutors should also update their availability calendar - in order to avoid getting demos booked in time slots that they are not comfortable with.
  • Terms of suspension from the UrbanPro Assured membership:
    • Sharing their contact information with students via messaging, a call or a demo session conducted through UrbanPro.com. Including any contact information that can potentially take the conversation and the student outside of UrbanPro, will be considered as a ‘strike’ against the UrbanPro Assured member
    • Sharing any information, link or any message that can be used by the student to make a payment to the UrbanPro Assured member, without using UrbanPro SecurePay link, will be considered as a ‘strike’ against the UrbanPro Assured member
    • Any failure to report students (within 24 hours of the incident happening) who either share their contact information or try to transfer payments without using UrbanPro SecurePay link, will also be considered as a ‘strike’ against the UrbanPro Assured member.
    • 1st strike: Zero days of suspension and a warning to cease & desist from violating the terms of use of ‘UrbanPro Assured’ platform
    • 2nd strike: 7 days of suspension and a warning to cease & desist from violating the terms of use of ‘UrbanPro Assured’ platform
    • 3rd strike: 30 days of suspension and a warning to cease & desist from violating the terms of use of ‘UrbanPro Assured’ platform
    • 4th strike: 90 days of suspension or permanent removal from ‘UrbanPro Assured’ platform, at the sole discretion of the management at UrbanPro.com
  • For the purpose of monitoring any deviation from the terms of use listed here, you give UrbanPro.com the right to review & monitor all messages, call records & demo videos featuring conversations between you & learners who posted their enquiries on UrbanPro platform.
  • Support offered to UrbanPro Assured members
    • All UrbanPro Assured members, once they are accepted and approved by UrbanPro, will be asked to join our ‘Community’ set up on Telegram messenger. The steps to download that application and join the community will be shared with the members on email.

UrbanPro Assured members can send a message on the ‘Community’ chat group on Telegram app, or email assured@urbanpro.com to raise their queries or concerns regarding UrbanPro Assured.

Venue Only

If you enter into correspondence or engage in commercial transactions with third parties in connection with your use of the UrbanPro Service, such activity is solely between you and the applicable third party. UrbanPro shall have no liability, obligation or responsibility for any such activity. You hereby release UrbanPro.com from all claims arising from such activity.

Ownership

Except for the Content submitted by members or users, the UrbanPro Service and all aspects thereof, including all copyrights, trademarks, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights therein, is owned by UrbanPro.com or its licensors. You acknowledge that the UrbanPro.com and any underlying technology or software used in connection with the UrbanPro Service contain UrbanPro's proprietary information. You may not modify, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works of, publicly display or in any way exploit, any of the content, software, and/or materials available on the UrbanPro.com Site, or UrbanPro Services in whole or in part except as expressly provided in UrbanPro's policies and procedures. Except as expressly and unambiguously provided herein, UrbanPro.com and its suppliers do not grant you any express or implied rights, and all rights in the UrbanPro.com Service not expressly granted by UrbanPro.com to you are retained by UrbanPro.com.

Limitation of Liability

THE SITE, CONTENT, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED AS IS, WITHOUT WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. IN NO EVENT SHALL URBANPRO.COM, BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM THE USE OR THE INABILITY TO USE OUR SERVICES.

URBANPRO.COM MAKES NO WARRANTY THAT THE SITES, CONTENT, OR SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR BE AVAILABLE ON AN UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE BASIS.

URBANPRO.COM MAKES NO WARRANTY REGARDING THE QUALITY OF ANY PRODUCTS, SERVICES, ACCURACY, TIMELINESS, TRUTHFULNESS, COMPLETENESS OR INFORMATION PURCHASED OR OBTAINED THROUGH THE SITES, CONTENT OR SERVICES.
