- GST/TCS Policy: If you have an aggregate turnover exceeding Rs. 20,00,000/- in a financial year (April to March) through an electronic commerce operator (in this case UrbanPro) or through other means, you will have to register yourself under GST and TCS will be applicable to you.
Obtaining a GST registration is mandatory, in case you’re not already registered.
*If you are residing in the following states, GST registration will be applicable if your aggregate turnover exceeds Rs. 10,00,000/- instead of Rs. 20,00,000.

- Deduction: Details of how TCS will be applicable to you is as given below (only in case you are registered under GST):
As per government regulations, for any online service undertaken through a mediator (in this case, UrbanPro), an amount of 1% will be deducted for every single transaction, per goods or service (in this case student).
The amount of 1% is deducted on the payment made by UrbanPro for every single transaction.

- Claims: The amount of 1% deducted will be remitted to the Government by UrbanPro which can be set off against your GST liability while filing your GST returns.
