Demo classes play a crucial role in helping tutors and students connect meaningfully before committing to regular sessions. To ensure the best experience for both parties, the following attendance guidelines and penalties apply to demo sessions.
Purpose of Demos
Allow students to experience your teaching style before enrolling.
Help tutors assess the student's learning needs.
Promote transparency and confidence in the learning process.
When Students Miss the Demo
No coins will be refunded if a student fails to attend a demo session.
Tutors are encouraged to follow up with the student to:
Confirm attendance in advance
Reschedule the demo if needed
When Tutors Miss the Demo
Policy Violation Trigger
If more than 20% of your scheduled demos are missed within a 7-day period (e.g., 2 out of 10 missed), this is considered a violation.
Coin Penalty
For each missed demo, 2x the number of coins based on how many students had booked will be deducted.
Account Suspension Rules
Each missed demo gets considered as an instance of policy violation.
| Violation Count | Penalty |
| 1st Instance | Account suspended. A reactivation link will be sent to your registered email. |
| 2nd Instance | Account suspended for 7 days. Option to reactivate immediately by paying 2000 coins. |
| 3rd Instance | Permanent suspension of your account. |
Tips to Avoid Demo Penalties
Always reschedule or cancel demos at least 3 hours in advance if you can’t attend.
Be present for at least 15 minutes, even if the student hasn’t joined, to avoid it being marked as a missed session.
Set reminders and maintain clear communication with students.
By following these guidelines, you ensure a professional, reliable, and rewarding experience for both yourself and your students.
