The deduction structure is based on a Flat Fee + Percentage Model and depends on your Tutor Level (based on hours taught) and the Category Flat Fee of your course.
1. Deductions on the First Payment (Flat Fee + Percentage)
For the first payment received from a new student, two types of deductions may apply:
Category Flat Fee (One-time Fee):
This is a one-time fee based on your course category and is deducted first from the student's payment.
It covers the UrbanPro charge up to a specific Threshold Amount.
Flat Fee Slabs varies from ₹600 to ₹1,500 depending on the category
Percentage Fee (Applied if Payment > Threshold):
If the total first payment exceeds the Category Flat Fee's Threshold Amount, your Tutor Level's percentage fee is applied to the amount above the threshold.
Tutor Levels and Initial Percentage Fees:
Level 1 (0–500 hours): 26% to 30%
Level 2 (500–1000 hours): 24% to 28%
Level 3 (1000+ hours): 22% to 26%
2. Deductions on Subsequent Payments (Only Percentage)
Once the Category Flat Fee has been fully covered (even if spread across multiple small installments), the Flat Fee is NO longer deducted.
Only your Tutor Level's percentage fee (30% to 22%) is deducted from all future payments by that student.

Example: A Level 1 Tutor (26%) with a ₹1,200 Flat Fee has a threshold of ₹4,615.
On a ₹6,000 payment: ₹1,200 (Flat Fee) + 26% of (₹6,000 - ₹4,615) is deducted.
